Our range of nineteen self-catered woodland lodges are unlike any others in Northumberland. Extra spaciously designed and spread across our 40-acre site in Kielder Water & Forest Park, each subtly weaves in best-in-class accessibility features alongside super-fast WiFi, flatscreen TVs and pool access. Bradbury Lodge

At the heart of Calvert Kielder’s 40-acre site in Kielder Forest, Northumberland, sits the Bradbury Lodge.

With a jacuzzi hot tub, steam room and subtle accessibility features for those who need it, this modern take on a self-catered, two-bedroom woodland cabin is carefully designed to give everyone who stays in it a magical get-away.

Under England’s darkest skies in the Northumberland International Dark Sky Park, this unique one-bedroom holiday lodge with hot tub and its own observatory dome is designed to connect all guests with the stars.

McArdle Lodge

Step through bi-fold doors onto a private terrace with your very own hot tub – right against the treeline of Kielder Forest.

This outstanding VIP, self-catered, two-bedroom lodge is carefully designed to give everyone who stays in it a magical get-away, with a private hot tub terrace and luxury touches throughout.

No.1 Burnside

Nestled beside a gentle stream in Northumberland’s Kielder Forest, No.1 Burnside is a spacious and accessibly designed take on a traditional Scandinavian lodge.

The closest lodge to Calvert Kielder’s main centre building, this self-catered three-bed is especially convenient for access to the indoor hydrotherapy pool and the variety of outdoor activities available on site.

No.2 Burnside

With its private decking overlooking a gentle river, No.2 Burnside is a three-bedroom lodge with space for up to six guests and subtle accessibility features woven throughout.

There for those who need them, unobtrusive for those who don’t. Take a look for yourself.

No.3 Burnside

Perched next to a gentle stream in Northumberland’s Kielder Forest and with its own private hot tub, No.3 Burnside is a three-bedroom self-catered lodge like no other.

There’s plenty of space for six guests and up to two well behaved dogs, alongside subtle accessibility features woven throughout.

No.4 Burnside

Backing up onto a woodland stream in Northumberland’s Kielder Forest, No.4 Burnside is a relaxing escape into nature for up to 6 guests.

This spacious, self-catered, three-bedroom lodge has its own private hot tub and accessible features built in throughout.

No.5 Burnside

The most secluded of the river-backed Burnside lodges, No.5 Burnside offers generous dimensions and three bedrooms for up to six guests.

With accessible features and a warm welcome for up to two well-behaved dogs, it’s a relaxing space for all its guests.

No.6 Hillside

The closest of the Hillside lodges to the main centre building, spacious three-bedroom No.6 Hillside offers close proximity to the treeline for spotting the wildlife, alongside easy access to indoor pool and onsite outdoor activities. For those who need it, there are subtly integrated accessibility features throughout.

No.7 Hillside

No.7 Hillside provides the perfect, cosy woodland retreat for the whole family.

Nestled against the treeline of Northumberland’s Kielder Forest, this highly accessible and dog-friendly lodge is a place where everyone can come together and connect with nature.

No.8 Hillside

Everyone can get involved at self-catered lodge No.8 Hillside, with space for up to 7 guests and accessibility features woven in throughout.

Step out on to your private balcony with barbeque stand, look out at the wildlife and take in the views of the stunning Kielder Forest. Let the holiday begin.

No.9 Hillside

Pet-free, accessible lodge No.9 Hillside boasts ample parking, three bedrooms for up to 7 guests and stunning forest views from your private terrace.

For those who need them, accessibility features include an adjustable height kitchen and a tracked hoist from the twin bedroom to an ensuite wet room.

No.10 Hillside

Enjoy views down over Calvert Kielder’s 40-acre woodland site and out into Kielder Forest from No.10 Hillside.

With accessibility features including a profiling bed and adjustable kitchen, there’s space for up to 7 guests and two well-behaved dogs. A real scenic getaway for the whole family.

Reece Lodge

The pet-friendly version of just two 2-bedroom, A-framed lodges on the Calvert Kielder site in Kielder Forest, the Reece Lodge is carefully designed to give everyone who stays in it a magical get-away, with a private hot tub terrace and an accessible wet room for total ease.

Sara J Lodge

The pet-free version of just two, A-framed lodges on Calvert Kielder’s woodland site in Kielder Forest, Sara J welcomes up to 4 guests.

Designed with both luxury and accessibility in mind, it’s the kind of place that makes everyone staying feel properly looked after, hot tub and all.

Spedding Lodge

The first of Calvert Kielder’s two largest lodges, Spedding has ample space for up to 12 guests (10 adults and 2 children) plus up to two well-behaved dogs.

Settle into this modernly designed woodland lodge right against the tree line of Kielder Forest and take in all that nature has to offer.

Spoor Lodge

The second of Calvert Kielder’s two largest lodges, the Spoor brings classic woodland chalet charm to a self-catered, five-bedroom retreat built for bigger groups.

With room for up to 12 guests (10 adults and 2 children) and 2 dogs, it’s the kind of place where everyone finds their own space, then comes together for the parts that matter.

Straker Lodge

Standing proud overlooking Kielder Forest, the huge, three-bedroom Straker Lodge is one of a kind.

Built in a contemporary Swedish style with floor to ceiling windows, the lodge is carefully designed to give everyone who stays in it a magical get-away, with panoramic views across Kielder Water & Forest Park.

SkyDen

Featured on Channel 4’s George Clarke’s Amazing Spaces, SkyDen is an entirely unique glamping experience tucked into the trees of Northumberland’s Kielder Forest.

This self-catered, two-bedroom hideaway sleeps up to four guests across three distinctive spaces.

Do I need to have a disability to stay in Calvert Kielder's lodges?

The short answer – no. While many of our lodges features elements of accessible design, we welcome thousands of people without disabilities every year. In fact, by staying with us you’re helping support our charitable work with people with disabilities, so it’s a win-win.

Check-in is at the Calvert Kielder reception (signposted on site) from 5pm.
