What this accommodation offers
After parking up in your private space directly outside, step inside to The Square. This compact, multi-functional space combines living, dining, kitchen and sleeping all in one, with clever fold-down furniture that tucks away when not in use. This part of SkyDen is wheelchair accessible throughout, so everyone can settle in with ease.
Rustle up a home-cooked meal in The Square’s small but well-equipped kitchenette, including an oven, grill, two hotplates, fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster. On the same level, you’ll find a level-entry shower and wet room, complete with shower, toilet and hand basin – simple, accessible, and right on your doorstep.
Step out again to discover the lovely outdoor space which is The Circle. Perched above a free-flowing stream, this outdoor seating and dining area comes with its own small wood-burning stove, and is reached via a gently sloped walkway from the roadside. It’s the perfect spot to sit back and take in the forest around you.
When you’re ready for bed, fold out the beds in The Square or climb the external stairs to The Triangle. A small step ladder leads up to the 2-bed sleeping platform, with handy under-bed storage tucked beneath. Look up, and you’ll find the real magic: a unique opening roof revealing the magnificent dark skies of the Northumberland International Dark Skies Park above.
Please note The Triangle is reached via external stairs and isn’t accessible to guests who are unable to climb them.
