Whatever shape your visit takes, we’ll work with you to build a custom itinerary which brings together accommodation, freshly prepared meals and a selection of outdoor activities to suit you. And with a team that knows how to make it work for everyone, you’re in for a holiday to remember.

Every activity holiday package at Calvert Kielder includes:
- Accommodation in our accessible rooms within our main centre building
- All meals — home-cooked breakfast, lunch and evening meal, with all dietary requirements catered for, served in our on-site restaurant
- A tailored programme of activities across your stay, chosen from our full programme
- Access to the hydrotherapy pool, bar and games room throughout your visit
- Free WiFi throughout
A typical 3-night itinerary
Every programme is built around you, so no two visits are exactly the same. Here’s an example of what three nights on an activity holiday with us might look like:
Day 1
Arrive and settle in. Dinner.
Day 2
Breakfast. Laser clay pigeon shooting and the Kielder ZipCoaster. Lunch. Swim in the hydrotherapy pool. Dinner.
Day 3
Breakfast. Explore the Lakeside Way. Lunch. Canoeing on Kielder Water and archery. Dinner.

From the rush of the King Swing to the quiet focus of archery, from canoeing on England’s largest manmade reservoir to abseiling a 10-metre tower — our activity holiday packages cover the full spectrum.
Our activities team will help you put together a selection of activities across each day of your stay, tailored to your or your group’s interests, abilities and appetite for adventure. Want more time on the water? Prefer to focus on the high ropes? Just tell us.
Accommodation and facilities
Our fully accessible B&B rooms are within the main Calvert Kielder centre building, with everything you need to feel properly at home between activities.
Our rooms feature level flooring, wide doorways and ensuite facilities as standard. The hydrotherapy pool, bar and indoor games room — complete with giant versions of Scrabble, Connect Four and Jenga — are available to all guests throughout their stay.
Our chefs cater for all dietary requirements and tastes. If you have specific needs, let us know when you book.
