Kielder Forest is your office. The people you’ll work alongside are extraordinary. And the guests you’ll be helping — individuals, families, groups, schools and businesses of all abilities — will remind you every day why the work is worth doing.
At Calvert Kielder, we’re always looking for exceptional people to join our team, whether that’s in a full-time role, part-time, as an apprentice, or as a volunteer. If you’re drawn to a place where your work makes a genuine difference in a genuinely beautiful setting, we’d love to hear from you.
Working as a carer at Calvert Kielder means supporting guests on their respite care breaks — making sure their personal care needs are met to the highest standards, while also joining them on the outdoor activities, on the water and in the forest, that make a stay here unlike anything else. It’s a role that combines professional care with real adventure.
We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring and motivated people to join us. You’ll need a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in care, along with the drive to keep developing. If you don’t hold a qualification yet but are interested in a career in care, speak to us about our healthcare assistant role — we’re committed to helping people grow into the job.
